In the second half of 2003, three enthusiastic young people thought it was about time to consider seriously what had been on their minds in the last period of time: opening a new, dynamic tour operator and travel agent, capable to cope with the last changes in Romania's tourism field.
We where conscious that one needed much more than just the idea, so we proceeded with the marketing and investment planning. While the Romanian bureaucracy meant a lot of time and patience, we had even more time to think it all over in detail.

I'm the one who puts the tour packages together: I choose the sites, pick up the accommodation a.s.o. In some cases, I'll also be your guide during the trips.
I've been working as a guide since 1997 with tourists from Austria, Germany, USA, Israel, Holland ... Traveling into the mountains or to cultural sites is my main hobby, and this fits quite well to our business field. I've spent pretty much time abroad, so my tastes in travelling match the taste of most foreign tourists.

I'm taking care of practical side of the tourism: select suitable hotels and other services, do the reservations and the bookings, check the incoming and outgoing payments. I also maintain direct connections with our corporate customers.
I studied management, so this tasks go well along with my knowledges.
My hobby is music, and, of course... tourism. I've only been working at Tymes Tours for 2 years now, and I already learned a lot through many practical experiences.

I have finished my thesis at the University of Kassel, Germany on the topic "Johann Peter Kaufmann and the Late-Classicist Sculpture at the Court of Weimar".
I convinced myself several times how carefully the cultural trips of Tymes Tours are conducted. So my advices on cultural sightseeing are welcome, as I am a professional in art and cultural heritage. I live in Frankfurt, Germany; however in the IT-era the communication with the team in Timisoara, Romania goes on swiftly.
For the study tours organized for the universities from Germany and Austria I also conduct the groups of students during their cultural trips in Romania.
