J1E: Cross-Country in the Banat Mountains (6 days tour)

Now you'll see that it doesn't necessarily have to be high altitude to have a spectacular 4x4 tour! The limestone area of the Southern Banat provides all-terrain emotions with its many gorges, canions and waterfalls, as well as densely forested karst plateaus. You'll also see some villages left in isolation (still no electric light up here!), lost among huge limestone walls. The milder climate of the area allows you to take this tour during 7 months of the year.

J2E: High Altitude Thrill in the Southern Carpathians (7 days tour)

Although the Southern Carpathians are already pretty high (up to 2500 meters a.s.l.), some areas dispose over a good net of forestry roads, allowing us to climb our cars as high as 2200 meters (no asphalt). Alpine pastures and deep dark forests as far as you can see! Two overnights at a famous nuns monastery are included, as well as some short visiting of middle age citadels at the foothills of the mountains.
